In the early eighties we started our perennial and cut-flower nursery. In those days information about the plants, their cultivation, appliance, etc., was given on a sheet of paper, mostly a simple bunch of fly sheets.
As we started the cut-flower industry, we have always tried to introduce new and exciting varieties. Through the Aalsmeer Flower Auction (VBA) in Holland our flowers went all over the world.
After the flowers the plant succeeded. From North America until the Far East, people started to ask for fine and exciting perennials, and we are supplying them in an enormous assortment.
The great response on our introduction of the Perennial Bouquet proved that there was a demand for our carefully selected dual-purpose plants. It also showed approved the need for exact and up-to-date information. This is how our site, www.vrholland.com originated.
